From May 7 to September 25, guided tour every Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m.
29 kings of France stayed and left their mark on the royal town of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. After the historical presentation of the city and the exteriors of the Château-Vieux, the guide-lecturer will accompany you from the French and English gardens of the National Estate to the Grande Terrasse designed by Le Nôtre which overlooks the Seine as far as Paris. You will see the Château-Neuf, birthplace of Louis XIV in 1638. Then, you will stroll through the historic districts according to anecdotes about the mansions and the origin of the names of the streets. Along this walk, you will discover the multitude of food shops. For centuries, some shops and brands have been veritable institutions. One of the culinary specialties of the city will be offered to you during the visit.

Guide compétente et intéressante. Victoria est très claire et agréable. Nous aurions cependant aimé voir plus d’hôtels particuliers, et que la visite soit un peu plus longue (2h). Lorsqu’on aime, on ne compte pas.
